MISSION
The mission of the Fundació Ramon Noguera is to work towards guaranteeing the rights of people with intellectual disabilities and improve their quality of life, for them and their families, as well as for children who present developmentaldifficulties, all in order to help towards the creation of a more supportive and inclusive society.
THE ONYAR SOCIAL PROJECT
At the Fundació Ramon Noguera, we work for the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities in Girona and the Gironès region. We identify ourselves as a charitableentity, closely tied to the territory and people, with a clear vocation of public service.
One of our objectives is to create jobs for people with intellectual disabilities through the direct management of various areas of productive activity, and one of these areas is the production of organic food.
The growth in the consumption of organic food has opened up an important range of opportunities for us to continue providing employment and, at the same time, also with a vision towards the future, to increase these employment opportunities. In this sense, we contribute doubly to creating a fairer and more sustainable society.
THE SOCIAL TASK OF THE FOUNDATION
The work of the Fundació Ramon Noguera goes far beyond creating job opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
Behind the social value of Onyar products, there is an organization that has been working daily for more than 50 years for people with intellectual disabilities, providing them with comprehensive care through the management of different centers and services.
When you buy an Onyar product, you are contributing to the Foundation's mission, and it not only helps to maintain jobs but also has an impact on supporting all the organization's social projects, through wiich we provide care to more than 1,000 people a year, including children and adults, in early care centers, day care centers and also in residential care centers.
